Job title: Network Systems Engineer
Location: Hale, Cheshire

Our Client are an innovative telecommunication company who are at the forefront of technology. They are an independent broadband ISP Supplying Ultrafast connectivity to homes and apartments across the UK via their own fibre optic.

As part of their growth, they’re looking for a specialist with ongoing development of their infrastructure while supporting their customers.

Responsibilities:
• Basic Programming / Coding of Network tools and Systems.
• Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine their applicability to solving our Customers business challenges and needs.
• Technical implementation of design solutions where required.
• Maintaining Network Servers.
Required:
• Network engineering: switches, routers, firewalls within an ISP environment
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper and other major vendors (CCNP level experience)
• BGP routing protocol
• LINUX system administration
• Knowledge of Databases: preferably, MariaDB Galera Cluster
• Understanding diagnostic tools
• Telco / ISP industry experience
