The 4th Utility are an independent broadband ISP, supplying ground-breaking connectivity to homes and businesses across the UK via their own fibre optic network. The business partners with residential and commercial landlords, property developers and house builders to install and upgrade their properties with state-of-the-art fibre to the premises.
The business was established 3 years ago and following a significant multi-million-pound investment, are now implementing exponential growth plans which has led to an opening for a Technical Sales executive to join their growing team.

So what does the role involve?
Management and retention of existing relationships – follow up communication and use of all sales mediums
Work with prospective commercial customers to convert interest into new business
You will be targeted against your sign-up quota and will be responsible for accurately forecasting sales figures
Proactively grow and develop client relationships with new and existing customers
Establish and build relationships within your target sites to build upon your sign-up figures and utilise these relationships to further develop your remit and client base
Prepare and deliver quotations in line with client requests, as well as, offering advice and guidance
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape
Maintain and record information on internal systems
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively
Be a point of escalation for customer and proactively resolve in a timely manner
Technical understanding of Fibre optics and the Fibre space in order to provide clear technical advice and accurate cost estimations
What we are looking for?
You will have a strong sales and business development background, within the telecoms industry

Technical understanding of Fibreoptic broadband, Fibre cabling, locating access points, understanding Firewalls, IP knowledge
Presentable, outgoing, proactive, with excellent relationship management skills.
In return, the business offers a fantastic opportunity to join an already established yet ever growing organisation. This role will be based in 4th Utility’s Hale office with some travel expected to sites when required. Salary is circa £30,000 dependent on experience.
